The Casa da Cereja is welcomes you everyday from 9am to 12.30 pm and from 2pm to 5.30pm.

How to get here

By car

From the North: follow A1 towards Lisbon, taking A25 towards Guarda and finally A23 to Fundão Sul exit

From the South: follow A1 towards North, taking A23 to Fundão Sul exit.

If you are in the Centre of Portugal already, take IP3 to Viseu and then A25 towards Guarda and then A23 to Fundão Sul exit.

In all cases, you must choose the Fundão Sul exit.

There is a lot more to experience at Fundão.

With 360 days to discover, you can plant and cherish a cherry tree - The Tree of Life, visit and try the many traditional cherry products the Festa da Cereja every year on the first weekend of June in Alcongosta.

You can get to know the other Unesco Centre - Casas e Lugares do Sentir, located the the various parishes of Fundão.

You can also discover and enjoy the fascinating landscapes of the Gardunha mountain and tour one of the many walking and BTT Rotas da Gardunha. You can even get your bike ready at the BTT Centre of Fundão.
